Circle of Neighbors goes online

November 1998 -- Circle of Neighbors established an internet presence today. This 14 year old non-profit organization has previously marketed their service with direct mail services. Tom Lloyd, Director of the service, indicated today that in an effort to maintain a low cost of operation for it's members, the organization would begin marketing their service through the use of the internet and email.

"We have helped thousands of students make their dream of obtaining a college education over the years" Lloyd said, "We can now reach far more people with these unique techniques through a network of consultants in local neighborhoods leveraging the power of the internet."

The organization will use two new domain names to promote their service.

www.circleofneighbors.org will be a member based web site designed to provide Circle of Neighbors membership with resources and a central point of contact.
www.collegeconsultants.org will focus on helping local consultants learn to coach families and students through the process.

They have engaged Financial Services Online Solutions as webmaster and for domain management.
